On October 18th, a new little head arrived at the domain. Far from leaving us indifferent, the young puppy very quickly conquered our hearts, sometimes even leaving us a little "gagged".
As animal lovers, we both grew up surrounded by dogs. So we had been thinking about adopting a dog for a long time, but it was impossible because our son, Orsu, was still very young and scared to death of them! Today he is a brave little man who is no longer afraid of furry animals! We jumped at the chance to welcome Fieru, a Corsinu (the Corsican dog breed) and Griffon cross puppy.
When he is older (and more obedient), Fieru will accompany Yves in the vineyards, but for the moment, we must admit, Fieru is a "sofa dog" who divides his time between sleeping and playing. Why Fieru? Because it's a nicer name than "andouille"! No, seriously... We chose to call the puppy Fieru, which means "proud" in Corsican, to echo the Corsican roots of the Corsinu breed.
